Resources for Candidates:Find a Mentor in Kentucky:
Professional Learning Facilitators, or PLFs, are NBCTs who have received training and earned certification from KEA in collaboration with NBPTS to support National Board candidates. Below is a partial list of PLFs in Kentucky who are currently open to working with candidates. We encourage you to reach out to these PLFs and inquire if they might support you as a candidate. Compensation for their reading or consultation should be negotiated between the candidate and PLF. KEA believes that a PLF typically charges about $25 per hour for their services. 
Western Kentucky University Candidate Support:
The WKU is developing different protocols for candidate support. The programs will be available for all either in real time or viewing recordings individually.
